Exporting and reloading config¶
There is no "Save" button — you save by exporting a JSON file to your machine and reloading it later.
- On the Home tab, select Export → Quick Export. A file called
config.jsonwill download to your local machine. - Select New Config. Your previous changes are cleared.
- Select Load Config and pick the
config.jsonyou just downloaded. Your previous configuration is restored.
Export frequently
As you continue through this workshop, export your config after every couple of exercises. If your browser tab is accidentally closed you can reinstate it from your local machine.
Your operating system will typically rename repeated downloads —
config (1).json, config (2).json and so on — so you naturally end up with a
history of exports you can roll back to.
See Loading and saving and Export options for the full options, including sorting exported JSON to match the UI order.
